General Description
The Language School of the Instituto Cultural Domínico Americano includes within its academic services the “Online Specialized English” courses, which are characterized for being autonomous learning programs aligned with specific careers or needs. These 100% virtual courses are accompanied by a tutor who will guide and help the student to achieve their goals effectively and clearly.
Meetings with the tutor will be held twice a week in 1-hour sessions on Wednesdays and Fridays from 7 pm to 8 pm. The objective of these meetings is to:
Admission Exam
All the courses that make up the “Specialized English Online” offer, require an admission test to determine if the student’s proficiency level is in accordance with the one required for the program they wish to take.
The exam costs RD$1,000 and is delivered virtually through the platform. At the time of purchasing the course, RD$500 will be credited to the total amount of the course. The RD$1,000 paid is non-refundable.
Once the payment has been made, the Language School will contact you via email within 24 to 48 working hours. You can also send a screenshot of the payment receipt to isuarez@icda.edu.do for information on the next steps.
Costs
The cost of each program varies according to its duration. A single payment is made prior to the start of classes through the platform. Some long-term programs require payment every three months.
Prices are indicated in the description of each program.
Remember that RD$500 will be deducted from the initial amount paid when applying for the exam.
In the case of one-month courses, the amount paid is non-refundable. For three-month and long-term courses, a 70% refund will be made for cash payments and 67.5% if the payment was made by credit card, as long as the withdrawal request was made during the first two weeks of classes or license activation. Companies
For companies that have approved the quotation and sent the letter of commitment and whose licenses have been activated at the time of cancellation of the service, they will be charged 30% of the quoted value.
Important information about the Specialized English Online program:
These courses are not subject to the enrollment and start dates of regular Language School programs. Whoever is interested can register and start their classes at any time.

You will be shown and described each step, form and requirement of the naturalization process and will go through a typical naturalization interview.
